In the rugged landscapes of Andhra Pradesh, Pushpa, a humble laborer with dreams of a better life, finds himself caught in the crossfire of family betrayal and criminal intrigue. Despite facing constant rejection from his stepbrothers due to his status as an illegitimate child, Pushpa harbors aspirations of rising above his circumstances and living a life of luxury and prestige.
His chance comes when he secures a job in the dense forests of Andhra Pradesh, where red sanders, a highly prized commodity, are smuggled to other countries. Under the watchful eye of DSP Govindappa, Pushpa and his fellow laborers toil away, risking life and limb for a meager wage. But Pushpa is not content to remain a pawn in someone else's game. He dares to challenge the authority of DSP Govindappa, creating hurdles for him and the other laborers, and ultimately saving a smuggling consignment worth crores.
His bravery catches the attention of the notorious Reddy Brothers – Konda Reddy, Jakka Reddy, and Jolly Reddy – who control the illegal trade of red sanders in the region. Impressed by Pushpa's audacity, Konda Reddy takes him under his wing, offering him a chance to rise through the ranks of the criminal underworld.
As Pushpa climbs the ladder of success, he finds himself torn between loyalty to his newfound allies and his own moral compass. Despite his newfound wealth and power, Pushpa's heart yearns for Srivelli, the woman he loves. However, his hopes of marrying her are dashed when his stepbrothers expose his mother's relationship with their father, leading to the dissolution of their engagement.
Undeterred by the setbacks in his personal life, Pushpa is determined to seize control of his destiny and ascend to the heights of power. When he discovers that a syndicate member, Mangalam Sinu, is cheating the Reddy Brothers out of their rightful share of the profits, Pushpa takes matters into his own hands. He confronts Konda Reddy and proposes a plan to increase their profits by cutting out Sinu and taking control of the smuggling operation themselves.
But as Pushpa's ambitions grow, so too does the tension between the rival factions within the criminal underworld. With war looming on the horizon, Pushpa finds himself at odds with both DSP Govindappa and the Reddy Brothers, forced to navigate a treacherous path fraught with danger and betrayal.
In a daring bid to assert his dominance, Pushpa takes control of the smuggling operation, pitting himself against both Sinu's syndicate and the Reddy Brothers. With his wits and cunning, he outmaneuvers his enemies at every turn, leaving a trail of chaos and destruction in his wake.
But as the stakes grow higher and the danger mounts, Pushpa realizes that his thirst for power has come at a cost. Caught between his desire for revenge and his longing for a better life, he must confront the demons of his past and decide what truly matters most – his own ambitions, or the love and loyalty of those closest to him.
In a final showdown that will determine the fate of the criminal underworld, Pushpa must summon all his courage and cunning to emerge victorious against the forces arrayed against him. With everything on the line, he must make the ultimate sacrifice to secure his place at the top – but at what cost?
